I fell from one heart into another
Too weak to keep myself together
Dissolving like crumbling sand
I clung to you from underwater
I gathered myself up in your hand
Although like dust, I spilt from your fingers
Too weak to follow my own command
Falling with shaking limbs on slippery land
Like a child you carried me on your shoulders
And to bed, tucking in my covers
And quietly waited until I stopped crying
The endless tears falling like showers
I tumbled from night into morning
Dropped from my dreams into the waking
And from the bed to the floor
Hanging on, the walls were swaying
And curled up, washed ashore
I waited for you to love me more
But you had gone, closing the door
But you had gone, closing the door
